The Universe in your Head

The astrological sign of Aquarius rules invention, innovation, and ideas that blow our traditional ways of thinking out of the water, and as we move into the Age of Aquarius our very conception of reality will continue to morph and evolve as our understanding of the multilayered patterns of the Universe becomes more complex.

Now comes biocentrism, a belief that life creates the Universe.  Robert Lanza is one of the leading proponents of this theory and has come out with a new book which is abridged on the MSNBC site. (A quick look at Lanza’s chart (born 2/11/1956, time unknown) reveals that he was born under the New Moon in Aquarius, with the Sun and Moon conjunction opposed by Jupiter (expanding one’s point of view) and Mercury (thought process) in Aquarius as well.)

Lanza’s theory of biocentrism includes these seven principles:

  • A First Principle of Biocentrism: What we perceive as reality is a process that involves our consciousness. An “external” reality, if it existed, would by definition have to exist in space. But this is meaningless, because space and time are not absolute realities but rather tools of the human and animal mind.
  • A Second Principle of Biocentrism: Our external and internal perceptions are inextricably intertwined. They are different sides of the same coin and cannot be divorced from one another.
  • Third Principle of Biocentrism: The behavior of subatomic particles, indeed all particles and objects, is inextricably linked to the presence of an observer. Without the presence of a conscious observer, they at best exist in an undetermined state of probability waves.
  • Fourth Principle of Biocentrism: Without consciousness, “matter” dwells in an undetermined state of probability. Any universe that could have preceded consciousness only existed in a probability state.
  • Fifth Principle of Biocentrism: The structure of the universe is explainable only through biocentrism. The universe is fine-tuned for life, which makes perfect sense as life creates the universe, not the other way around. The “universe” is simply the complete spatio-temporal logic of the self.
  • Sixth Principle of Biocentrism: Time does not have a real existence outside of animal-sense perception. It is the process by which we perceive changes in the universe.
  • Seventh Principle of Biocentrism: Space, like time, is not an object or a thing. Space is another form of our animal understanding and does not have an independent reality. We carry space and time around with us like turtles with shells. Thus, there is no absolute self-existing matrix in which physical events occur independent of life.

You may recall the old question, “If a tree falls and there is no one to hear it, does it make a sound?”  Evidently the answer is no!

From the excerpt of Lanza’s Biocentricm:

Quantum mechanics describes the tiny world of the atom and its constituents, and their behavior, with stunning if probabilistic accuracy. But quantum mechanics in many ways threatens our absolute notions of space and time. When studying subatomic particles, the observer appears to alter and determine what is perceived.  The presence and methodology of the experimenter is hopelessly entangled with whatever he is attempting to observe, and what results he gets.

In 1964, Irish physicist John Bell proposed an experiment that could show if separate particles can influence each other instantaneously over great distances. First it is necessary to create two bits of matter or light that share the same “wave function” using a special kind of crystal (so-called “entangled particles”). Now, since quantum theory tells us that everything in nature has a particle nature and a wave nature, and that the object’s behavior exists only as probabilities, no small object actually assumes a particular place or motion until its “wave function” collapses. What accomplishes this collapse? Messing with it in any way. Hitting it with a bit of light in order to “take its picture” would instantly do the job. But it became increasingly clear that any possible way the experimenter could “take a look” at the object would collapse the wave function. As more sophisticated experiments were devised it became obvious that mere knowledge in the experimenter’s mind is sufficient to cause the wave function to collapse.

That was freaky, but it got worse. If the wave function of an entangled particle collapses, so will the other’s — even if they are separated by the width of the universe. This means that if one particle is observed to have an “up spin” the act of observation causes the other to instantly go from being a mere probability wave to an actual particle with the opposite spin. They are intimately linked, and in a way that acts as if there’s no space between them, and no time influencing their behavior. Experiments from 1997 to 2007 have shown that this is indeed the case, as if tiny objects created together are endowed with a kind of ESP. They truly seem to prove that Einstein’s insistence on “locality” — meaning that nothing can influence anything else at superluminal speeds — is wrong. Rather, the entities we observe are floating in a field — a field of mind, biocentrism maintains — that is not limited by the external spacetime Einstein theorized a century ago.

No one should imagine that when biocentrism points to quantum theory as one major area of support, it is just a single aspect of quantum phenomena. Bell’s Theorem of 1964, shown experimentally to be true over and over in the intervening years, does more than merely demolish all vestiges of Einstein’s hopes that locality can be maintained.

Before Bell, it was still considered possible (though increasingly iffy) that local realism — an objective independent universe – could be the truth. Before Bell, many still clung to the millennia-old assumption that physical states exist before they are measured. Before Bell, it was still widely believed that particles have definite attributes and values independent of the act of measuring. And, finally, thanks to Einstein’s demonstrations that no “information” can travel faster than light, it was assumed that if observers are sufficiently far apart, a measurement by one has no effect on the measurement by the other.

All of the above are now finished for keeps.

The research of Bruce Lipton has already revealed that human consciousness influences which DNA switches are turned on and off, proving what many of us already know: that we can create not only our reality but our physical health with the intention of the conscious mind.

Our understanding of the very concept of consciousness is transforming at a spectacular speed.  The triple conjunction of Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune, all in Aquarius, can act as a portal for us individually to gain a deeper understanding of the reality that underlies our experience of the Universe.  But first our minds must open wide.

More on the astrology of the new Iranian Revolution

Most news reports are now speaking of revolution in Iran.  As I wrote a few days ago, transiting Uranus (revolution and sudden change) is passing right over Mars in the chart of the Islamic Republic of Iran.  Nancy Waterman writes:

Mars in this chart is in the 8th house and ruler of the 9th house (Aries cusp), the Sun (in Aries), and co-ruler of the 4th house (Scorpio cusp). Thus, this transit is shaking up the rulership of the country (the Sun), bringing the feel of deeply hidden rancor coming out into the open and causing transformation (8th house), and convulsing the people and the foundation of the country (4th house). In addition, there is the inflammation, anger, confrontation, and sudden eruption of rebellion and violence inherent in a Mars/Uranus combination. This transit will continue through late August, exact on August 23, and then return in February 2010. It has been intensively activated by the transits of the Sun (25 Gemini) and Mars (10 Taurus) in the past few days, culminating around 7:30 PM local time on June 17 with the exact square of transiting Sun and transiting Uranus.

Looking a little more deeply into the Iran charts, this revolution, if that’s what it becomes, likely has its roots in the conjunction of the progressed Sun (the national identity) in the Iran chart to Chiron (the wound to the soul) back in March of 2008.  Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was elected in 2005 as a populist – someone who understood the common people.  Instead, he imposed cultural restrictions on the rights of women and forced university professors and scientists to retire.  His promises have not come to pass, and many Iranians want a change that comes with more personal freedom and liberty.

We see this desire for liberty with the transit of Uranus over Mars in the chart of Iran.  Mars is conjunct Mercury in that chart, and Uranus is within a degree of a transit over Mercury as well although that transit won’t realize its full effect until March of next year.  Uranus is stationing now in preparation for its retrograde turn in a few weeks, and its influence is particularly powerful as it sits right on that Iranian Mars, fueling the call for change and a new government for the people.

The Midheaven in a national chart signifies the government of that country and its role in world politics.  Chiron is very close to the Midheaven in the Iranian chart, describing the wound to its position in the world and the necessity of healing that wound.  Over the past few years the progressed Sun has transited the natal position of Chiron as well as progressed Chiron and it is now sitting right at the Midheaven of the chart.  We see in this the urge of the country to shine (Sun) for all to see – to gain the respect and admiration of the international community and at the same time assert its independence and heal its image.

As Nancy wrote, transiting Mars (rage, expression of Will) was in an exact conjunction to the Midheaven as the rebellion spread following the election results, and at the same time it was transiting the progressed Sun.  Because Mars is a faster-moving planet it tends to ignite other planetary events and in this case it set the revolution on fire.

Words of wisdom from Barbara Hand Clow

Barbara Hand Clow was one of the first astrologers to identify the wounding and healing process of Chiron that I work with in my own practice, and I owe her and her excellent work a great deal.  She is doing some groundbreaking work now that some may find a bit out there, but I suspect in a few years we’ll see that she was right all along, just as she was 30 years ago.

Here’s an excerpt from something she wrote about the Chiron/Neptune conjunction that we’re in the middle of right now.  You can read more about it on her site.

We astrologers talk on and on about Neptune as a guide for connecting with spirit worlds. It has become a cliché, and most people just don’t think about what that means. So, I will attempt to find other words to describe Neptune’s influence. Most of the time, we are separated out from all-that-is, the timeless energy fields of our cosmic bodies. We are caught in time and place, and then once in awhile we experience a breakthrough into all-that-is-a peak experience. When this happens, the boundaries around our separated selves melt, and we experience “oneness” or enlightenment. Children frequently exist in oneness-especially infants-but then painful experiences cause them to close up and separate from divine consciousness. While we are alive, Chiron’s transits-usually by conjunction, square, and opposition-erode the boundaries of the separated self by means of piercing stabs into deep inner wounds. When these wounds occurred in this life or past lives, we erected boundaries around the wounds, yet the very energy that could reconnect us with spirit-Neptune-is locked out. So, Chiron and Neptune working together can erode these boundaries that block cosmic fusion. In other words, accessing pain sometimes opens spiritual connection, and this is what we resist the most.

Jupiter joins the Summer Retrogrades

I’ll begin by quoting myself:

When planets are retrograde, their influence becomes more subtle; more internalized. It can be more difficult to achieve momentum in the areas over which the planet presides. It may be necessary to apply a greater conscious intention to areas of life ruled by that planet. When all three outer planets retrograde at once we are often forced to perfect a part of our life that has been neglected and which is holding us back from evolving as individuals.

Jupiter turned retrograde yesterday, joining Chiron, Neptune and Pluto all of whom are traveling backward in their apparent path as observed from earth.  Chiron and Neptune changed direction at the end of June, and Jupiter moved slightly beyond the conjunction before turning retrograde yesterday.

Jupiter will catch up with Neptune first, in July 9th, and for the next few weeks these planets will continue to dance together in a celebration of the evolution of the soul and an expansive opening to creative inspiration.  That’s the good news.  The bad news is that this same blissful opening of the soul can also open up the temptation of escapist behavior, addictions, and illusions if we venture too far into the world of rose-colored glasses without remaining grounded on Planet Earth.

Chiron has not gone far, and remains within one degree of Jupiter and Chiron which is certainly close enough to add its voice of wisdom to the mix.  Chiron asks where in our lives are we harboring painful memories or ill-will that needs to be released in order for the soul to continue its journey towards evolution.

Readings for clients have been very interesting under this triple conjunction.  Several people in one day were experiencing longer mourning periods than they felt was appropriate after losing several people that were important to them over the past few years. Some people are suddenly remembering incidents that occurred years ago, but which suddenly seem important.  Other practitioners are telling me that their clients are asking, “What should I be doing with my life?”  It’s as though we have all suddenly awoken to the fact that we are spiritual beings wearing earthly clothing.

The emotional pain that we may be feeling is an important part of the cleansing process and can’t be avoided under Chiron’s influence.  It is the clearing of the emotional debris that facilitates our ability to shift into a new way of living in the world in true peace and bliss, with an experience of real love that comes from within.

It will be the end of July before Jupiter begins to retrograde away from Chiron and Neptune, and by then Uranus will have turned retrograde (Uranus retrogrades on July 2).  Uranus has slowed down as it prepares to turn retrograde, and it is at its most powerful now, urging us to pursue freedom, liberty and the happiness that comes from living an authentic life.

This is a powerful combination of planetary energies!

Conspiracy Corner: Alchemy and demons in crop circles

Molly Hall at About Astrology posted a link to Linda Moulton Howe’s excellent crop circle site where she compares the latest crop circle to a sigil used by the ancient alchemists. Linda writes:

Sigils are codes created for a specific magical purpose. The pattern is the code derived from a number and/or letter grid known only to those who produce sigils from the known grid. A sigil is usually made up of a complex combination of several specific symbols or geometric figures each with a specific meaning or intent. The term sigil derives from the Latin sigillum meaning “seal,” though it may also be related to the Hebrew segulah meaning “word, action or item of spiritual effect.”

There is sigil magic in which symbols and signs are used as tools of magicians and alchemists. In medieval ceremonial magic, sigils represented various angels and demons that the magician can summon. The magical training books called the Grimoires often listed pages of angel and demon sigils. A particularly well-known list is in the Lesser Key of Solomon, in which the sigils of the 72 princes of the hierarchy of hell are given for the magician’s use, including the demon Aim. Such sigils were

considered to be the equivalent of the true name of the spirit, and thus granted the magician a measure of control over the entities being called.

For example:

From the Lesser Key of Solomon is this Sigil which is evidently “for the demon, Aim (aka Aym or Haborym), ho is a Great Duke of Hell ruling over twenty-six legions f demons and using fire to destroy. Aim is depicted as humanoid ith three heads: one a serpent; the second a man with two stars on the forehead; and the third a cat.”

Linda quotes a treatise by the late Mario Pazzaglini, Ph.D.on the use of sigils in alchemy.  Pazzaglini had an interesting background that bridged the world of the occult, particularly Enochian magic, and UFO contact.  These connections have been made by many in the world of speculative esoteric research, and also by Christian conspiracy researchers.

Compare this to the most recent crop circle:

This adds another interesting layer to speculation around crop circles.  If they are being beamed by military satellite for the purposes of mind controlas some speculate, and this mind control involves the practice of alchemy and ceremonial magic, then who is in control?

And now, with the release of the film version of Dan Brown’s novel Angels and Demons, this whole idea will flood the consciousness of the masses.

And to what end?  The mind simply boggles.

This was not David Carradine’s first time

See my original article here, and the first update here. David Carradine’s third wife, Gail Jensen, has revealed to the National Enquirer that she rescued Carradine in 1984 from an autoerotic asphyxiation episode after finding him “hanging unconscious from a beam with a belt around his neck.”  Another interview with Ms. Jensen revealed that Carradine had experimented with drowning himself in their pool.

In my earlier articles I connected Carradine’s evident fascination with the darker side of sexuality to an opposition from Pluto (death and compulsive behavior) to Venus (relating to others) in his astrological chart.   Looking back to this 1984 period, transiting Pluto was in a challenging square formation to that natal dynamic, creating a tendency for more extreme behavior and a desire to explore these darker undercurrents and experiences.

Not everyone with Pluto/Venus contacts in their chart (I myself have something similar) go to this kind of extreme or react with this kind of compulsion.   There is, though, a fascination with death and perhaps this became a kind of a game for Carradine in which he outwitted Death over and over.  After this kind of extreme life-or-death sexual experience, ordinary human relationships would have paled by comparison driving Carradine to take greater and greater risks.

An astrological look at elections in Iran

Iran electiosnMaybe holding elections in Iran on the day that Mercury (communication and information) was in a challenging square to the big Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune conjunction wasn’t the best idea. During the past few weeks the opposition candidate, Hussein Moussavi, had become wildly popular especially with women, many of whom crave liberation from the oppressive Islamist regime.  News reports claim that the turnout exceeded 82%, but the current president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appeared to have been elected in a landslide.

The country erupted in riots today as the hopes of millions of voters were dashed and rumors of vote-rigging spread throughout the country.  The main telephone network in Tehran was blocked and access was cut off to numerous websites including Facebook and Youtube.

This is a challenging time in Iran, as transiting Uranus passes over the conjunction of Mars and Mercury in the chart of the Islamic Republic of Iran.  That Mercury/Mars conjunction points to the heated (Mars) rhetoric (Mercury) that has been a staple since the Islamic revolution in that country, and Uranus transiting over those points has elevated this to a new degree.  Uranus is the planet of revolution and change, and when it transits Mars there is generally an upheaval of some kind.  Because of this, I fully expected Moussavi to win this election. But Uranus is also the planet of surprise, and the planet that instigates reaction and it’s possible that the revolutionary fervor that accompanied the news of Ahmadinejad’s win could spark off a resistance in Iran that could eventually lead to long-lasting change.  Note this Newsweek article:

“I’ve never had so much fun in my life,” said Nazli Hosseini, a 19-year-old graphics student, who was dancing  with a group of boys and girls to the music of the Black Cats, an L.A.-based Iranian pop group. “A few years ago I couldn’t even dream of doing this on the street. But now, thanks to the collective hatred of Mr. Ahmadinejad, we can dance till 4 in the morning. This means that Mr. Ahmadinejad and the illiterate people who support him cannot stop us anymore.” Hosseini stopped, changed the music, and started again. “This one is in the honor of Mr. Mousavi,” Hosseini shouted as she continued to shake as if her life depended on it. …

Whatever the coming announcement is–a Mousavi victory, an Ahmadinejad resurgence, a second round of voting–something has changed in Iran over the course of this campaign. Iranians from unexpected quarters have started to express themselves, and the leaders of the Islamic Republic now face the uncomfortable reality that the people must be listened to.

The median age in Iran is about 26 years, with 70% of the population under age 30.  Iranian youth are suffering under high unemployment and runaway inflation, and 20% of Iran’s youth population is unemployed.  The young people want greater freedom and chafe under the restrictions of the mullahs.  This is a fertile breeding ground for revolution.

In February of 2008 the Sun in the progressed chart of Iran chart transited progressed Chiron, signaling a healing crisis in the nation, and in May of this year the progressed Sun crossed the Midheaven of Iran’s natal chart.  The Midheaven in the chart of a nation signifies its government but also the way that nation is perceived in the world, and the transit of the progressed Sun over that point signals a new importance for Iran in the global picture.

You can read my original profile of Ahmadinejad here, Uranus in the sky is in an opposition cycle right now to the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter in his chart that will be creating some radical change (Uranus) in his fortune (Venus) and the way that people see him (Jupiter).  However, transiting Pluto is making a harmonious trine to natal Pluto in a cycle that concludes this summer and fall which is typically a time when we are able to become fully empowered.  This could bode well for his political future.

The Uranian changes in Iran right now will necessitate that become more flexible as he adapts to the growing voice of his people (Venus).  Most reports assert that the Iranian people are not as anti-American as Ahmadinejad’s government, but it is likely that with the Iranian progressed Sun crossing its Midheaven the nation as a whole is heading for a position of greater power on the international stage.

Update:  Thanks to Jill for this link to an article outlining fraudulent acts in Friday’s election.

Carrie Prejean is fired as Miss California

Carrie Prejean’s short “career” has already been full of controversy and fodder for the tabloid news.  Carrie is a college senior who was a photo model before she won the runner-up prize in the Miss California Teen pageant in 2005.  In 2009 she won the Miss California crown, and it is widely rumored (and confirmed by pageant officials) that the Miss California pageant purchased breast implants for her competition in the Miss USA pageant in April.

Her appearance at the Miss USA pageant created a firestorm when she answered a question about same-sex marriage by saying “I do believe marriage should be between a man and a woman.”  She lost the competition and attributed her loss to her faith and beliefs.

Donald Trump, owner of the Miss California pageant, came to her defense at the time, saying that if she wasn’t so beautiful she would not have been attacked, but yesterday he fired her for breach of contract, saying she refused to attend events on behalf of the Miss California pageant and “treated everyone else like crap.”  Carrie Prejean insists that she is being targeted for her conservative religious beliefs, bt there is evidence from email transcripts of her  arrogance and lack of cooperation.

Naturally, I had to take a look at her astrological chart (born 5/13/1987, San Diego CA, time unknown).  Carrie’s Sun is in Taurus, widely known for its stubborn and inflexible nature but also a need for peace and serenity. Her Sun is opposite her Scorpio Moon which is passionate and can be manipulative with the Scorpio need to win.  With the Sun opposite the Moon (a Full Moon personality), the lunar instincts of the subconscious can overpower the conscious mind which results in behavior that is reactive rather than strategic.  This can lead to impulsive behavior for which there is little explanation.

This impulsive quality is also shown by Carrie’s Mars, showing her drive and the way she gets things done, which is opposite Uranus, the planet of rebellion and radical behavior.  She has an extremely rebellious nature, but oppositions (where two planets are 180 degrees apart) require some conscious integration to function well.  In most cases an opposition shows a tendency to generate conflict that comes from outside of ourselves rather than inside, and unless we recognize that the conflict is actually within us it can be difficult to move through situational problems.

For Carrie, this means that she has a tendency to attract situations which put her in conflict against other people when actually the conflict originates within herself.  She is outspoken with aggressive Mars in the communication sign of Gemini, and that Uranus factor acts as a constant irritant which continually provokes her into rebellion of one form or another.

Her aggressive instincts are even more finely honed because she has Jupiter, the planet of optimism and confidence, in the assertive sign of Aries.  This gives her the ability to unhesitatingly go after what she wants without fear or inhibition but is not known for its tact or sensitivity.

In fact, Carrie’s chart shows that she lacks a basic sense of empathy or compassion since there is no water in the chart other than the Scorpio Moon.  Water is the element that deepens our emotional connections and gives us a sensitivity to the needs of others, and this is lacking in Carrie’s chart.  While Scorpio is a water sign, it is more concerned with preservation of one’s own emotions than lending a nurturing quality to the personality.

At the time of the pageant, Carrie was even more rebellious than usual with a challenging transit of Uranus in a square formation to both Uranus and Mars in her chart which continues to set off the explosive rebellion that is already present in her nature.  Uranus in the sky will be continuing to apply pressure to her chart throughout the summer as it changes direction right on the degree of the planets in her own chart.

All of us at around age 21 experience a double whammy of transits of Saturn and Uranus.  Saturn creates challenge that forces us into situations that require a concerted effort to change, and Uranus stimulates us into rebellion and causes us to question everything in our life.  The combination of the two can be quite difficult for most of us, even if we’re not on the public stage. This kind of challenge isn’t easy but for a young person it can provide the stimulus required to help the personality to evolve.

The Mars Hoax is back, and Venus and Mars hook up

Ever since 2003 when Mars made its closest approach to Earth in 60,000 years and loomed large in the sky with its glorious red shine, every August our email boxes fill with well-meaning messages from friends determined to inform us of this spectacular event.  While technically not a hoax, this has become more of an urban legend.

NASA sets the record straight once again. There are lots of exciting things in the sky, including a conjunction of Venus and Mars, but this isn’t one of them.

Astrology: the cosmic mirror of the astrologer’s soul

Here is a great article from one of my favorites, Liz Greene, whose work informed much of my own early work.  In it she quotes Alexander Ruperti, one of the earliest holistic astrologers:

”There is not one Astrology with a capital A. In each epoch, the astrology of the time was a reflection of the kind of order each culture saw in celestial motions, or the kind of relationship the culture formulated between heaven and earth.’

and goes on to say:

‘For every individual astrologer today, astrology is not only a reflection of the kind of order our culture sees in celestial motions, and the kind of relationship it formulates between heaven and earth. It is also a reflection of the inherent temperament of the individual – our hopes, aspirations, personal histories, conflicts, fears, talents, and beliefs, both conscious and unconscious – and a reflection of the attitudes and perceptions that each of us brings to the story of our individual lives.’

The question of whether astrology is a science or not is one that I prefer not to delve into.  In general, I am a person who believes what I see and not what I am told.  There are too many examples, which I gleefully catalog in this blog, of instances where conventional scientific wisdom is proven to be wrong, and hypotheses which were considered “far out” by scientists are demonstrated to be true.  There are many things in life that cannot be proven by the scientific method which requires rigorous testing and duplication of results.  Love is the classic example of this – we cannot prove that it exists.  Does that mean that it’s just a neurological response?

Dr. Greene includes Nick Campion’s survey results:

This data is available in book form: What Do Astrologers Believe? (What Do We Believe?)

Dr. Greene’s essay then goes on to examine the chart of Princess Diana as it would have been interpreted by different astrologers throughout history.  It’s a fascinating read.

I like to say that if you ask five astrologers a question you’ll get five different answers and then they will argue about it.  But I would argue that this is a good thing – just as science must continue to expand to take in new paradigms, astrology must do the same.  The science of medicine is now realizing that in abandoning folk medicine in favor of pharmaceuticals, much ancient wisdom was lost and the same is true with modern astrology.  There is great wisdom in the ancient teachings of William Lilly, Abu Ma’shar and so many others, and we do ourselves a disservice when we neglect the wisdom of our astrological ancestors in favor of the more modern approaches.  By the same token, human beings are evolving and changing, and just as the outer planets added a transpersonal dimension to astrological symbolism that was unknown to the ancients, the newer influence of Chiron has expanded our knowledge even more.

For the public, this huge array of astrological offerings may be confusing.  But consider that seeking an astrological consultation is like going out to eat.  There are many choices: Indian, Thai, Mexican, etcetera.  There is no food that is the right one – everyone has different tastes and different needs.  Some clients will be attracted to the precise answers of traditional astrology; others will be drawn to an astrologer who utilizes psychological tools.

In my view we only fail as astrologers when we close our minds to the vast array of astrological information that is available to us.
