More Jupiter/Uranus UFO disclosure

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the epidemic of UFO sightings under the influence of Jupiter and Uranus as they team up in the sky, and thanks to those readers who let me know about the press conference by the former Air Force officers who are coming out under this influence to tell their stories of UFO sightings.  Jupiter is the planet of expanding the mind, and Uranus brings sudden and unusual surprises so when the two team up we can end up with some interesting events.

One of the witnesses, Colonel Charles Halt, ” in December 1980, was the deputy base commander at joint British/American airbases, Bentwaters and Woodbridge, in the Rendlesham Forest in England. Over the course of several nights, UFO activity was high at the base, including reports of unidentified objects near the nuclear weapons storage area.”

One key element in UFO testimony is the question of why more military or scientific voices haven’t come forward in the past to discuss the possibility of UFO reality. Halt has a simple, straightforward answer.

“Because it’s a career killer,” he said. “I tried to keep it all quiet and quite frankly, at the time it happened, I really didn’t want any publicity, didn’t want to be involved in it. Hey, I was coming up for promotion, and this was not a positive thing. My boss wanted nothing to do with it; he kept it at arm’s length.”

What did Halt and the other former Air Force officers at Monday’s news conference conclude about the UFO events they separately experienced during their service careers?

“This was something of intelligent control beyond any technology we know. It’s my firm belief that it was extraterrestrial or from a different dimension.”

And how does Halt feel about allegations that the Air Force has engaged in a specific routine of disinformation regarding UFO reports?

“How do you kill a story better than making it so ridiculous that everybody laughs when they hear it? And I can tell you, the military has it down to a science.”

The UFO community has been pushing for “disclosure,” and this is certainly a strong step in that direction.  You can watch the full press conference below and decide for yourself!

Jupiter/Uranus and an epidemic of UFOs

As I wrote the other day, Jupiter and Uranus reach the pinnacle of their second conjunction tomorrow, this time in Pisces.  The combination of Jupiter and Uranus can make for some pretty big (Jupiter) surprises (Uranus) that challenge the status quo (Uranus) of what we believe (Jupiter), so I think we can safely file the plethora of UFO sightings over the past few days under the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction!

The truth may be stranger than we think.  Many UFO researchers now believe that unidentified or alien visitors are interdimensional rather than intergalactic travelers.  That too would fit under the tendency of Jupiter/Uranus to expand (Jupiter) the mind beyond ordinary reason (Uranus).

Saturn’s Hesagon Emerges

Many people who know nothing about astrology have often heard of the Saturn Return, and the very mention of the astrological Saturn causes those with the strongest hearts to quake in their boots.  But Saturn is an amazing planet astrological that offers rich gifts along with its famous tests and challenges.

Back in the early 1980s the hexagon that encircles Saturn was first discovered by NASA’s Voyager, but the recent images offer more details than were previously known.

Scientists are still trying to figure out what causes the hexagon, where it gets and expels its energy and how it has stayed so organized for so long. They plan to search the new images for clues, taking an especially close look at the newly identified waves that radiate from the corners of the hexagon — where the jet takes its hardest turns — and the multi-walled structure that extends to the top of Saturn’s cloud layer in each of the hexagon’s six sides. Scientists are also particularly intrigued by a large dark spot that appeared in a different position in a previous infrared image from Cassini. In the latest images, the spot appears in the 2 o’clock position.

Because Saturn does not have land masses or oceans on its surface to complicate weather the way Earth does, its conditions should give scientists a more elementary model to study the physics of circulation patterns and atmosphere, said Kevin Baines, an atmospheric scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif., who has studied the hexagon with Cassini’s visual and infrared mapping spectrometer.

“Now that we can see undulations and circular features instead of blobs in the hexagon, we can start trying to solve some of the unanswered questions about one of the most bizarre things we’ve ever seen in the solar system,” Baines said. “Solving these unanswered questions about the hexagon will help us answer basic questions about weather that we’re still asking about our own planet.”

The hexagon pattern is famously found in snowflakes, honeycombs, and other crystals in nature.  In ancient magickal traditions the hexagram, made up of two equilateral triangles, is the Seal of Solomon (later called the Star of David).  The six lines of the hexagram divide the figure into seven parts, and Saturn is the seventh planet.
In Masonic rites, the Star of David is associated with Saturn worship and talismans dedicated to the god Saturn held a hexagram according to Israel Regardie, an occult practitioner of the early 20th century.  And Lesser and Greater Banishing RItuals of the Hexagram are found in many magickal traditions.
Somewhere along the way Saturn became corrupted as Satan which didn’t help Saturn’s reputation much.  But the synchronicity of Saturn’s association with the hexagram and the fact that Saturn is itself embedded in a hexagram is pretty amazing.

Crop Circles in Brazil

Crop circles don’t have anything to do with astrology, and perhaps they have no place in an astrology blog. But I love a good mystery (my Mercury is in Scorpio – there!  I made an astrological connection).

[O]n October 29th, in the same town of Ipuaçu, by a few miles from the precise spot here last year’s circles have been found, a new sign in a wheat plantation was registered. This time, however, it is nothing like a circle, but a figure far more complex and with precise measures in its internal features. Take a look at the diagram:

The case was first reported by newsman Ivo Luis Dohl, consultant of the Brazilian UFO magazine, who lives nearby and was the same investigator to report last year’s cases. He is on site 24/7 evaluating this new case and waiting for others to come, and in permanent contact with the magazine HQ in Curitiba. This new circle was found by Bernardete Trevisan, who lives in the área where the formation was found. She called Vagner Visoli, officer from the City Hall, who went to the place and called Ivo Dohl.

Visoli was the first to arrive at the formation area and assured the Brazilian UFO Magazine that he found no indication of human action at all. No footprints, not tractor tracks (except for old ones produced during plantation process, weeks before), no indication at all of how the formation was produced. With lots of experience in wheat plantation, however, Visoli was afraid to enter the formation. He took the first pictures, which were sent for analysis.  The origin of this new crop formation is not known yet. However, agricultural technicians have assured that there is no method, equipment or instrument that could produce such effect on the plants and cause them to lay down so tidy as it can be seen in the photos.  Besides, nothing could cause the plants to bent and form such precise figure.

So far, this has been what is believed to be the first Brazilian crop formation in 2009, and if this country has really entered in this phenomena last year, as reported above, it is reasonable to expect that many more formations would happen this year. The Brazilian UFO Magazine team is prepared to investigate and report any new activity.

The question of why crop circles mainly turn up in one area (Wiltshire) in Britain is an interesting one.  If these circles are hoaxes, and so easily made as some claim, why are copycats not making circles all over the world, particularly in the United States where there are plenty of wheat fields?  The circles that have turned up elsewhere have been notably inferior and more obviously hoaxes, such as this one in Germany.
As I wrote before, I suspect that these circles might have some relation to the British secret service.  In any case, it’s a fascinating mystery!

Stalin’s Astrological Secrets

You don’t think of Communist Russia as being a hotbed of astrological thought, but evidently Stalin’s seven Moscow skyscrapers were part of a plan to rebuild Moscow with astrological symbolism (hat tip to Astrococktail):

Rumor has it that Stalin planned to re-build Moscow to make it look like a Zodiac table. The metro loop line with 12 stations and nine skyscrapers representing planets were designed for these purposes. The Exhibition of Economic Achievements and the Ostankino TV Tower were to represent an asteroid belt. The metro loop line and the skyscrapers were built concurrently.

I’m not sure what a “zodiac table” would look like, but although there’s little evidence to prove that Stalin was a devotee of astrology, there’s no doubt that occult sciences played a major role in the scramble for power that followed World War I.  The occult practice of the Nazis are well-documented, and since Stalin was a bitter enemy of Hitler it would not be surprising if Stalin secretly pursued occult methods of gaining power.

Philosophies of the Russian Revolution centered around the use of science to improve the state (a very Uranian concept!) and astrology in many ways aligns science with mysticism.  In any case, it’s an interesting and thought-provoking article!

Holy Spaceman!

The sergeant, who has not been named, was off-duty when he saw the figures standing in a field near Silbury Hill, and stopped his car to investigate.

However, as he approached the ‘men’ – all over 6ft tall with blond hair – he heard “the sound of static electricity” and the trio ran away ”faster than any man he had ever seen”.

Wiltshire Police has refused to comment on the incident, saying it is a ”personal matter” for the officer involved.The officer returned to his home in Marlborough, Wiltshire, and contacted paranormal experts and told them he had spotted a UFO.

Crop circle researcher Andrew Russell, who is investigating the bizarre sighting on behalf of the officer, described the moment his sighting was made.

He said: ”At first he thought they were forensic officers as they were dressed in white coveralls. He stopped his car and approached the field.

”The figures were all over 6ft and had blond hair. They seemed to be inspecting the crop. When he got to the edge of the field he heard what he believed to be a sound not dissimilar to static electricity.

”This crackling noise seemed to be running through the field and the crop was moving gently, close to where the noise was.

”He shouted to the figures who, at first, ignored him, not glancing at him. When he tried to enter the field they looked up and began running.

”He said; ‘They ran faster than any man I have ever seen. I’m no slouch but they were moving so fast. I looked away for a second and when I looked back they were gone.

Update:  Something is a little fishy about this.  Crop Circle Connector, a website that details all of the latest crop circles, is showing no circles in September or October yet the report was of aliens standing by a freshly made circle.  I will continue to investigate this matter, and please feel free to add your own comments!

I love a good mystery, and you probably do too.  Check out these 13 THINGS SENT TO TRY US from Michael Brooks via New Scientist – it’s almost enough to make you think there is more to this Universe than scientists can understand:

1.  Radiation left from the Big Bang is still glowing in the sky – in a mysterious and controversial pattern.

Crop circles are getting weirder

Some conspiracy theorists speculate that crop circles are being made by satellite transmitters that have been programmed with mind control messages.  That seems rather far out until you read this:

The 2009 crop circle ‘season’ started with abundance and now looks set to bring a summer of circles to Britain’s fields.
Whether made by human hands or an altogether different life form, no less than 20 formations have been spotted since the season began in April. This week alone two huge designs have mysteriously surfaced.

An intricate 150ft dragonfly appeared in a barley field near Yatesbury, Wiltshire, just days after a jellyfish design was cut into crops in Oxfordshire.

When the 600ft Portuguese man-of-war turned up near Kingstone Coombes, Oxfordshire, crop circle author Karen Alexander said: ‘This is the first jellyfish crop circle in the world. It is absolutely huge – roughly three times the size of most crop patterns.’ Last week a 350 ft yin-yang symbol was cut into a barley field near Devizes, a crop circle hot spot.

With over 20 crop circles in the past two months, the crop circle phenomenon is more than just a curiosity.  There is some speculation that the circles are being produced by the millitary using microwave technology.

The crop circles appear in areas that are near ley-lines, where the electromagnetic energy of the earth is said to be more powerful and there is evidence of higher EMF levels inside the circles.  This is leading to suspicion among some esoteric researchers that whoever is creating the circles is attempting to disrupt the natural force of the ley lines at these sites.

Venus retrograde, financial markets, and the Mayans

Mayan calendarVenus is the goddess of love and pleasure, and she rules over the principle of attraction as well. In that guise she oversees our ability to accumulate wealth and talents as well as loved ones, and it’s therefore not surprising that since Venus turned retrograde the financial markets have improved and there is a bit of optimism lurking underneath the darkness.

Venus is at its brightest just before it turns retrograde, but it is during the time when it makes a station as it prepares to turn direct that it slips into darkness. During this retrograde period that time will come around the 15th of April.  According to Bruce Scofield as quoted by Erin Sullivan in her excellent book Retrograde Planets: Traversing the Inner Landscape, the ancient Mesoamerican cultures believed that Venus “takes the form of a man and walks the Earth.  Here he meets the goddess Xochiquetzal, goddess of love, who abets him in breaking his vows of purity.”  Venus couples with the goddess and is sacrificed when the planet Venus is hidden from view, only to be reborn as the Morning Star and back in her female guise.

This pageant reflects the fact that when Venus is retrograde we often are forced to view that which is hidden and dark within us and in our relationships.  The Mayans evidently used the astronomical movements of Venus to plan their wars and sacrifices at the time that Venus emerged from the underworld.  This celebration of Venus as Goddess of War would exalt Venus in Aries, the sign ruled by Mars, god of war, rather than refer to Venus in Aries as being in her detriment.  Is this a symbol of our sanitized culture which even from an astrological point of view prefers the cartoon character Venus Aphrodite, emerging as a sex goddess from the sea, to the raw and brutal Mayan vision of Venus, “still sticky with the blood and bones of the dead after her forty-day journey in the arms of the Sun.” (Sullivan, Retrograde Planets).

As a culture we are learning to reframe our values during this Venus retrograde period.  The stress of the financial crisis has caused many people to re-evaluate their lives now that they are out of work, and some are finding that there are some benefits.  What do we value, and who are we really underneath the veneer that we present to the world?  This is what is being asked of us now.
