This show was pre-recorded because I’m out of town for the weekend so you won’t be able to call in today, but this is a fascinating interview with Chris Brennan, currently the Research Director for the National Council of Geocosmic Research and a graduate of Kepler College. Chris is one of a very few astrologers who specialize in Hellenistic Astrology, and he is currently heading up a collaborative translation project of ancient astrological texts. He is available for personal consultations and can be found on the web at www.HellenisticAstrology.com.

Astrological Musings Radio tomorrow: The Ceres archetype

Sunday morning at 11 am Eastern!  Tomorrow’s show, the first in a few weeks due to my bad flu which rendered me voiceless, will be a discussion of the Ceres archetype.  Ever since Ceres was reclassified with Pluto as a dwarf planet (I actually like the original name given to Pluto, Ceres and Eris:  The Plutoids), issues associated with Ceres such as the plight of women around the world and the health of the ecology of the planet have been at the forefront of global awareness.

All about Pisces: Musings on Astrology radio

Tune in at 11 am Eastern for a discussion about the sign of Pisces.  The Sun has just entered Pisces so we now have four planets in Pisces, a strong Piscean influence.  It’s a great time to learn more about this mysterious sign!

Astrological Musings Radio, Sunday morning 11 am Eastern

On the radio this morning:  All about Uranus (please refrain from the usual scatalogical jokes!).  I’m a little late on this topic but there has been much to talk about.  Uranus recently changed direction and is picking up speed, so I thought this would be a good time to talk about the influence of Uranus both in our chart and in our ongoing lives.  I’ll also spend some time talking about the “midlife crisis transits” of which Uranus is just one of several.

Since we will soon see the return of the Saturn/Uranus opposition, I’ll be talking a bit about Saturn as well and how their influences combine.

Astrological Musings Radio: Sunday Morning 11am EST

Tune in Sunday morning at 11 am Eastern when we’ll be talking about Uranus and Mars.  Mars is the planet that governs our drive and desires, and it will be turning retrograde soon, demanding our attention and energizing us for change.  Uranus, planet of revolution and change, turns direct on Tuesday and will be re-energized itself.

We’ll be talking about the kinds of experiences we are likely to encounter as Mars travels back and forth through Leo over the next six months or so.

The placement of Mars in the chart is important in assessing various health issues and I’ll be talking some about this as well.

We also have a Full Moon coming up this week so we’ll talk about the energies that this Full Moon will bring.

I’ve scheduled December’s shows:
December 6:  Jupiter and Chiron, revisited.  When the planet of expansion (Jupiter) meets the planet of wounding and healing (Chiron), expect an opportunity for emotional transformation!
December 13: The importance of Uranus (no scatological jokes please!!).  Uranus turns direct this week and we’ll talk about the important role this planet plays in our evolution as individuals.
December 20:  The Christmas Show.   This will be a concept-busting show.  We’ll be talking about Astrotheology and the connections between the Christmas Story and the story of the Winter Solstice Sun, as well as the astronomical Star of Bethlehem.  We’ll also talk briefly about Mercury turning retrograde on the 26th and the Super Moon eclipse on the 31st.  It will be a packed show so I’ve extended it to 90 minutes.
