Different clients have different needs. Perhaps you have a big decision to make. Maybe you're in crisis and need some perspective; having trouble with a spouse or child, or considering a major life change. The goal here is to empower you and assist you in creating a life that is fulfilling.

If you've never had a reading before, you may just be curious to discover what you can learn about yourself and your own inner dynamics that can help you truly maximize your own unique potential.

You're in charge here, you decide how much you want to spend and how much time you need. You decide the primary focus of the session, and you get to change your mind.

Readings are done by phone or at my office in Carrboro, North Carolina, near Chapel Hill. As a Libra I prefer this interactive method and find it is the most useful to the client as opposed to typed or taped readings.

Calls are free! I pick up all phone charges. If you have Skype (it's free!) we can do a video conference.

Readings are recorded and sent to you on CD along with a copy of the birthchart and other information. There is no extra charge for postage or the CD.

Please use this calendar as a guide for preferred openings, but I can be somewhat flexible.

Intuitive astrology consultations with Lynn:

Choose the length of your session based on your needs and the size of your budget. Sessions can cover anything from one issue or question to a complete birthchart reading and forecasting for new clients, depending on what is desired by the client. As a general guideline:

A 40 minute session is the most affordable option and offers an overview of the most important aspects of the chart and an analysis of one or two current issues.

In a one-hour session we can delve a little more deeply into the life themes of the birthchart and examine current cycles and do a bit of forecasting. For repeat clients, a one-hour session is perfect for quarterly or annual forecasting.

In a 90-minute session we can do a thorough analysis of the life themes of the birthchart and more extensive analysis of current cycles and forecasting.

In a two-hour session we can do a thorough analysis of the life themes in the birthchart as well as the unfolding patterns of the progressed chart, and also analyze current and future cycles for effective forecasting.

Relationship readings:

Relationship readings usually require at least an hour but we can squeeze the information into a 40-minute session if necessary for budgetary reasons.

I spend quite a bit of time preparing for each session. Therefore, to alleviate problems caused by last minute cancellations, payment is required in advance of session, either by credit card or Paypal account (preferred), or by check through mail (riskier because of mail delays). You do not need a Paypal account, but Paypal processes credit cards.

Your appointment will be considered to be tentative until I receive your payment.. Unfortunately, same day cancellations without a really good reason.will not be refunded. However, if you do not feel the session was helpful and want to terminate the it before we are finished I will cheerfully refund your entire payment.

Your session will be recorded and mailed to you on a CD or uploaded to a secure file on my website. However, technology being what it is occasionally a recording will malfunction. In the event of a recording malfunction I will refund 20% of the cost of the session to you. I retain all sound files for two weeks after the session and can send a duplicate CD if you contact me within two weeks. After two weeks I can no longer be responsible for lost CDs.

FORECASTING WITH TRANSITS AND PROGRESSIONS

Astrology has traditionally been a method of forecasting the future, and in fact there are many astrologers still practicing today who take a fatalistic approach to the birthchart (i.e., Mars is square Uranus, you will have an accident). This approach assumes that we do not control our own destiny, but it is in fact mapped out for us and we are just motorists in a vehicle that is programmed for a certain destination. The more humanistic approach to astrology originated in the late 1960s and has continued to develop into a sophisticated psychological tool. This approach recognizes that although certain aspects of our physical being and personality are predestined, we are given the free will to make choices which will affect the outcomes of the crossroads of our life.

"Transits and progressions" are terms for the study of the angles made by current planetary placements to the birthchart ("transits") and the evolving birthchart as it changes over time "progressions" to determine the cycles and growth that the individual is likely to experience in a given period. A forecasting reading using transits and progressions is typically done about once a year to evaluate these upcoming planetary influences. In this way periods of crisis can be managed by determining the influences that are operating and how best to navigate the rough waters.

RELATIONSHIPS

Relationships are crucial to the development of the human spirit. In our path to develop our individual self we find ourselves in relationship with others and learning to find the balance between living as an individual and in partnership. Sometimes these relationships can seem quite difficult as we navigate that tender tightrope between the Self and the Other.

The birthchart helps us to identify potential conflicts within ourselves that we may play out in the arena of our relationships. Often we attract partners to use that embody a part of ourselves that is not finding its full expression. Once we are able to identify the lost parts of our Self, we discover greater wholeness in our own life and are better able to experience greater joy in our relationshihps with others.

Examples of inner conflicts that are found in many people affecting their relationships are: Connection vs. Autonomy, Safety/Security vs. Adventure, and Responsibility vs. Free Spirit.

A relationship reading can be done for families, couples, or parents and children, and begins with an analysis of each chart individually to see where the potential issues and strengths can be found. We then look at the relationship each chart makes to the other, which shows us the issues and points of connection between the two individuals. We can identify potential difficulties and prescribe methods to work through these issues in a way that will maximize our own empowerment. A chart is then drawn for the couple or family, which identifies the nature of that relationship.

Relationships go through changes, and a reading which analyzes the transits of the relationship and how that affects each partner can also be very useful in uncovering issues or patterns and means for effecting positive changes.

When you call Lynn for an intuitive reading, she will first work with you to clarify the intention of your question. The clearer the question, the more accurate the reading will be in giving you the information that you need to move forward in your life with clarity and confidence. We will also take a quick look at the astrological chart for greater illumination and accuracy.

Questions can cover any subject on which you feel you need guidance or clarity. Where is my relationship going? Which path should I choose? What can I do to get more out of my job? What do I need to know in order to take the best next steps?

These readings will not predict your future or tell you your fate. They will not tell you if you will be rich or if you will ever get married, because all of these things are within your power to change. They WILL help you to make the changes in your life that need to happen to empower you to create your own destiny.
